If you are a hiker or not these are some most do hikes in New Zealand
Tongariro Crossing (North Island) Duration: 8h including lunch break. (6 hours for very fast hikers)
Level of difficulty: medium/challenging
2. Pouākai Hut hike or Pouakai Crossing (North Island)
Duration: 2 hours to the hut, 8,5h for the crossing
Level of difficulty: Hut - easy, crossing - medium/challenging
3. Roys Peak (South Island)
Duration: 2h to the viewpoint, 2,5h to the peak
Level of difficulty: medium (it's steep the whole way)
4. Hooker Valley Track
Duration: 2,5h (path is completly flat. It just gets icy in the winter)
Level of difficulty: easy
5. Pororari River Track
Duration: 1h 45min
Level of difficulty: easy
