Bavaria A Hiker's Paradise: Discovering the Best Trails & Lakes in Bavaria and Austria

Greetings, and welcome to my debut blog post! As I am currently preparing for my upcoming travel journey, I thought it would be a great opportunity to share some of the beautiful destinations I've already visited in Europe. This post will highlight some of the best hiking trails and lakes I've explored in Bavaria and Austria.

3. Urisee: This tranquil lake in the Tyrolean Alps is surrounded by lush forests and offers a peaceful hiking trail around its perimeter.

4. Unterer Gaisalpsee: This picturesque lake in the Allgäu Alps offers a scenic hiking trail around its shores and spectacular views of the surrounding mountains.

5. Leutaschklamm: This stunning gorge in Austria is home to a beautiful hiking trail that winds through the rock formations and offers picturesque views of the surrounding landscape.

6. Zugspitze: As the highest mountain in Germany, Zugspitze offers a challenging hike with stunning views of the surrounding Alpine scenery. For not experienced hikers I would recommend taking the cable car and have a nice walk on top of the mountain.

7. Breitachklamm: This awe-inspiring gorge in the Allgäu Alps is a must-visit destination for hikers and nature lovers, with its rushing waters and towering cliffs creating a dramatic landscape.

8. Besler: This mountain range in Bavaria offers a variety of hiking trails, ranging from easy to challenging, with spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.

9. Sonnenkopf: Located in the Austrian state of Vorarlberg, this mountain offers a variety of hiking trails for all skill levels, with panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
